16 December, 2022It’s the most wonderful time of the year! It’s been an incredibly busy year for us with the launch of our new Current Account and Debit Card, so this year Christmas is coming a little early and we are holding a Member Christmas Hamper Giveaway for all our active members!
How do you enter? You already have! Provided your account is active (you’ve used it in the past 3 years) you’re included in our giveaway. We are planning to give away TEN, locally purchased Christmas hampers to members. It’s our way of spreading a little Christmas cheer and thanking our members for their continued support. So keep your phone on standby and our elves could be calling you before Monday 19th December…ho-ho-ho!

Members’ Prize Draw Rules:
Mallow Credit Union may from time to time organize a giveaway prize draws to its members to appreciate the members’ support.
- Members of Mallow Credit Union Ltd, over 18yrs of age, will be included in the draw
- Mallow Credit Union Ltd.’s Directors, Board Oversight Committee, Management and Staff will not be included in the draw.
- The draw is free of charge to our members.
- You must retain a share balance of €10 minimum to remain a member of MCU and be eligible to participate in each draw.
- Your account must be active to be included in the Christmas Hamper Draw. Active membership is retained by transacting on the account at least once in the previous 3 years.
- Draw will be held on Monday 19th December.
- Draw will be supervised by a draw commission formed of 3 MCU staff members.
- If you have a loan and are not repaying it as per the Credit Agreement, and have gone into arrears by your own fault, you may be removed from the draw. Decisions regarding arrears be at MCU’s discretion
- The prizes for the draw are one of ten Christmas hampers. No cash value alternative can be provided. Contents of the hampers may vary.
- We will request for the winners to participate in an in-branch presentation photo and to allow us to post the list of winners to our website/social media channels. Members have the right to refuse these requests.
- Winners are contacted by telephone, text, email or letter and informed of their prize
- Mallow Credit Union Ltd. will not accept any liability for any defects, mechanical or otherwise in any prize
- Entry is limited to personal accounts only (club & business accounts are exempt)
- With regard to joint accounts, one prize per joint account.
- Members have the right to refuse the prize. You must notify MCU in writing of your withdrawal from the Members Draw.
- Draw is audited by MCU’s independent internal and external auditors
- The decision of the Board of Directors of Mallow Credit Union Ltd. concerning the interpretation of these rules or any matter arising from the draw will be final.
- These Draw Rules may be amended, updated rules will be available from our office and website
