2023 Mallow CU Student Awards
13 June, 2023Mallow Credit Union has long been committed to the schools and students in our common bond. The nine secondary schools in the Mallow Credit Union area of North Cork and West Limerick were approached to participate in the Mallow Credit Union Student Awards again this year. All schools chose to be a part of the awards and nine 6th year students were each presented with a cash prize of €500 and award.
Ciara Fitzgerald, Mallow CU marketing manager stated: “We were delighted to hold our Student Awards again this year and show our support to the schools in our area. The staff at the schools had the difficult decision of choosing one student to put forward and we would like to thank them for taking the time to do so at this busy time of year. We asked them to choose a student they felt showed themselves to be an asset to the school, someone who is involved in improving their local community in some way. We asked that they be a student that acted with integrity and promoted the spirit of friendship, much like the credit union itself. Having now met the winning students, it’s easy to see why their teachers felt they deserved such recognition. We recognise the tremendous work the teachers and staff do year after year to prepare their students for the next exciting chapter of their lives- and not forgetting the Moms & Dads too! We wish all the students in each of the schools the very best of luck in their exams and remind them that Mallow Credit Union is there for them for all life’s stages.”
